Who to Pick Up?

Postby wkpdpack » Thu Apr 15, 2010 6:46 pm

5X5 roto scoring, KEEPER league. I'm currently 1st and should compete to be in the money. My current pitching staff is made up of the following:
B. Anderson
Nolasco
Jimenez
Arroyo
Hamels
Pavono
Piniero
Franklin
Fuentes
Bench: Saunders
DL: C. Lee, Dice-K, C. Young and K. Wood

Who do I pick up to replace Fuentes?
C. Lewis, Duke, Millwood, Gorzellany, Hochevar, Robertson, Pelfrey, Ohlendorf, Norris, Hammel, or J. Johnson

Also, in a 5x5 rotoscoring, redraft league I need to replace A. Hill. Here are my current hitters?
C-Barajas, Doumit
1B-Morales
2B-Hill
3B-Zimmerman
SS-Hardy
MI-Prado
CI-McGehee
OF-Braun, Upton, Ad. Jones, Pence, Upton
U-Reimold

Who should I pick up?
Inge, Huff, Barton, Rolen, LaPorta, Kotchman, Hudson, Iwamura, Sizemore

In the top league, you would only have 1 closer w/o Fuentes. It'll be tough to win if you pun t the category this early. Johnson is your pickup.

In the 2nd league, move McGehee to 2B and pick up Rolen for your CI spot. He's been swinging it good in the early going. He should have plenty of RBI chances behind Pujols & Holliday too.

Thanks for taking a look at my post

Call me crazy but I am high as a kite on Gorzelanny. I know Colby is the big new thing but I like Gorzelanny quite a bit to break out.

Gotta go Sizemore in that second league, I think he gives you a bit of all 5 cat's.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help with mine

For your 1st question, you kinda have to go with the only guy who has the potential to close since you only have 1 closer now...and that's Johnson.

for your 2nd, I'm really high on Sizemore too, I'd snag him
