Should I propose this trade? WHIR

Postby Vobs56 » Thu Apr 15, 2010 6:25 pm

I was thinking about doing this trade.
I trade my Grady Sizemore, my Jose Reyes, and my Carlos Zambrano for his Jacoby Ellsbury, his Stephen Drew, and his Neftali Feliz.
From the way I see it I would receive a more durable OF in Ellsbury, opposed to Sizemore, get some relief/save help from Feliz for the ever declining Zambrano, and even though it may appear to be a downgrade at SS by trading Reyes for Drew, Reyes' health is a question mark and Drew has already done really well this season. I also have Rafael Furcal who has been hitting pretty well this year so far.
Does my logic make sense to you? Or am I missing something? Let me know. I will help you in return as well!

It's a 12 team, head to head league with the following stat categories:
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Hits (H), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Walks (BB), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)

And this is my current team:

1B-Albert Pujols-Cards
2B-Placido Polanco-Phillies
3B-Adrian Beltre-Red Sox

No, that's just way too much talent to give up, imo. Durability is worth something, but not that much.

No, that's a terrible trade for you. You downgrade at every single position. Just awful. Don't propose it.
