Start a holder at the sp spot??

Postby CRob44 » Thu Apr 15, 2010 1:44 pm

has anyone ever done this. Seems like a good way to get some holds.

I see 3 or 4 of the top holders this year so far are actually sp eligible like duensing and a couple sp on milwaukee

I don't know if I count on Duenesing to maintain value, but SP/RP holders are golden. If your leaguemates don't realize it, go pick up Joba, Villanueva, Narveson & Marshall if you have room. Stash Koji Uhera on your DL.

2 years ago Taylor Buchloz basically won the league for 1 team in my league.

do these leagues not have normal "P" slots? In the leagues I play in I slot my relievers in the P slots.

Mine has 3 SP, 2 RP, and 2 P. Plugging an SP eligible reliever who gets holds when you don't have enough SP that day is solid. I picked up Sean Marshall for this the other day.

so you're starting 5 relievers everyday? you must stream a lot of pitching.
