I was offered Heyward and Nolasco for Wainwright and Berkman.
Do I have enough pitching to take a chance on Heyward panning out this year?

I would do it. Heyward looks like the real deal and NOlasco will be good too. Your pitching staff is good enough to lose Wainwright and I have never liked the declining Berkman. Pull the trigger.

The big benefit in this trade would be you getting rid of Berkman. I'm not high on him at all and Heyward looks like he's the real deal. It sucks that this isn't a keeper league though.
I think you would be fine with having Nolasco instead of Wainwright too. Just remember Nolasco could have a slow start so be patient with him.
Thanks for helping me with mine too.

I agree. Heyward will be better than Lance and Nolasco will rebound from his first two starts and be equal or near equal to Wainwright.
good luck

I wouldn't do this.
Lance missed some games last year but he still hit 25 home runs. It's a week and a half into the season - it's way too early to say what Heyward will do. Lance is due to come back soon and there's no reason to expect he won't repeat his extremely consistent production. He's not a sexy guy to have on your line up but he always gets the job done.
So then we're looking at Wainwright and Nolasco. I know there is a large upside to Nolasco but I'm definitely not about to assume he will finish 'equal or near equal' to Wainwright. Waino put up Cy Young numbers last year and has proven that he has the stuff to be an ace every year. Nolasco definitely has the potential, but it's a bit early to be crowning him already.
