Carl Crawford for M-Cab WHIR

This seems like a question that probably doesn't need to be asked, but I need some convincing here. I have the speed and depth at OF, but my offense is borderline terrible. Do I take it at this point?

14 team roto keeper league, 5x5 (parenthesis note what round a player costs to keep for next season, can keep a max of 4, N/A means player ineligible to keep next season)
C AJ Pierzynski (14th)

2B Brandon Phillips (3rd)
SS Edgar Renteria (14th)
3B Chase Headleyf (13th)
OF Carl Crawford (n/a)
OF Rajai Davis (9th)
OF Hunter Pence (16th)
UTIL Travis Hafner (14th)
UTIL Adam Dunn (2nd)
BN Chris Davis (8th)
BN Brad Hawpe (5th)
BN Conor Jackson (17th)
BN Luis Valbuena (20th)
DL Miguel Montero (14nd)

P Johan Santana (1st))
P Chris Carpenter (8th)

Ok so first things first, what happens when you have 2 players with first round value? Cuz I'm guessing Miggy is available to keep for 1st round value, or are you even aloud to keep him?

Value wise I would take Miggy 9 out of 10 times. Also looking at your roster you have to do this deal, Davis/Pence/Phillips should give you enough speed to hold you over, and starting Prado at 1B is killing you. Id do the deal, move Dunn to the OF and platoon Davis/Hawpe/Jackson at UTIL, why is Pronk even rostered? There has to be better value on the FA list then Hafner. List your available FAs, and take the deal.

He wouldn't be able to be kept, so the keeper value (or lack thereof) is a wash. Only reason I have Pronk is to gamble on the HRs, as my team is definitely hurting for that.

Top FAs right now:
Luis Castillo (lol)
Ivan Rodriguez
Mike Cameron
Brandon Inge
Rick Ankiel
Casey Blake
Daric Barton
Scott Rolen

Things are a bit barren as it's a 14 team league with deeper benches.

I would take Miggy any day of the week. Plus I would actually keep Hafner as I expect at least 25 bombs from him this year. He is finally healthy so it is not bad to have him and none of the other guys on the FA list impress me too much.

please help

I would do that trade no doubt. Cabrera would definitely be worth trading Crawford for.

As Crawford cannot be kept for next year either, I would take Cabrera.

just to update, the guy is an idiot. He offered me that trade on the board we post on, then I propose it to him on the league page, he turns it down and tells me that he meant it as a joke. Total waste of time.
