Rotoworld:
Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston announced Wednesday that Kevin Gregg will serve as the team's closer "until further notice."
Jason Frasor blew two saves in five chances after being named the Jays' closer on Opening Day and currently owns a 6.34 ERA and 2.54 WHIP. Gregg, meanwhile, has a 0.23 WHIP, a 0.00 ERA and a 6/0 K/BB ratio in four appearances. He was shaky when trusted with ninth-inning duties last year in Chicago, but still needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues. Apr. 14 - 4:55 pm et

What do you think? Exploded when a closer last year, do you think he can handle it this year?

The AL East is a breeze, he'll love it. I think it's a game of flip flop until Frasor gets his head on straight and takes the job for the final 3 or so months.

Frasor's velocity is down nearly 3 MPH this season.

I don't really understand all of the Gregg bashing and Frasor love. Neither of these pitchers are particularly good but neither is particularly bad. It will be a rocky road regardless of who is the actual closer and who is the setup guy.

I'm just thankful wr gave me a $1 Gregg for a song over the winter. Also thankful that I couldn't find anyone worth cutting him for when Frasor was announced closer at the beginning of the season.
