20 man league H2H 6x6 (holds and OPS are the extra cats), we keep 20 players from year to year according to a tiered system. C Matt Wieters 1B Lance Berkman 2B Placido Polanco 3B Evan Longoria SS Ryan Theriot LF Matt Holliday CF Matt Kemp RF Corey Hart UT Garrett Jones SP Justin Verlander SP Josh Johnson SP Mat Latos SP Colby Lewis SP Derek Holland RP Matt Lindstrom RP Kevin Gregg RP Juan Gutiérrez RP Fernando Nieve BN Troy Glaus BN Ian Desmond BN Scott Podsednik BN Hector Rondon BN Daisuke Matsuzaka BN Trevor Cahill BN Derek Lowe DL Mat Gamel DL Jordan Zimmermmann DL Mike Gonzalez DL Brendan Donelly DL Chien Ming Wang In my minor league system I have Austin Jackson, Michael Taylor, Logan Morrison and Shelby Miller, among others. We have 5 DL spots. Should I take David Aardsma for Cahill? (I know I could use a SP, but so does everone in the league)? Or just stay put?

talking about long term value, even if Aardsma leaves Seattle next year, he still remains a solid source for Holds.

Definitely prefer Aardsma over Perez. I'd probably pull the trigger.

Yes I'm likely doing that...I don't see Cahill becoming a can't miss ace, and there are prospects that will always pop up to replace his production. Look at Mike Leake this year. Aardsma will have value even as a set-up man as well, as was mentioned above.

Yes, I like the value Aardsma adds to your team now and beyond.

I would do it. Cahill is going to be good, but probably not for another two seasons or so.

Make this trade, Aardsma is a good player and I think the Mariners will improve and give him more save chances.
