Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

Ok so my next question is this...
I have another squad that wants to deal with me, I offered Josh Hamilton/Justin Duchscherer for his Derek Jeter/Francisco Liriano. He emailed me back and asked if I would take anything else besides Jeter (he has no other SS and there is NO SS worthy of a fantasy roster on the wire) so he also has Teixeira, Markakis, Torii Hunter and Nyjer Morgan. I'm really leaning towards doing the Lind-Holliday deal, so should I press on and go after Teix with something like Hamilton/Duchscherer/Scott Downs or Takashi Saito for Teix/Liriano or stick with something like Hamilton/Duchsherer for Markakis/Liriano, or no move at all?
Just one more, in the Matt Holliday/Cole Hamels for Adam Lind/Carlos Santana, would you rather give up Santana in the deal or Pedro Alverez? He is interested in both, which prospect would you rather have for the long haul? Also again my C situation is Bengie Molina and Santana, my 3B situation is Chone Figgins and Alverez.
Much appreciated!!

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

I think both of those deals will work for you, and if the choice is between the hamilton and markakis deal or none, I'd take that. Really though, I'd take a shot at the Teix deal. you might be able to counter if it falls through, I'd aim high.

I'm in the stand pat crowd. Definitely got more upside with what you've got.

So like I say I believe I'm taking the Holliday deal. But should I do it with Carlos Santana in the deal or should I send Pedro Alverez instead?

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

If you want to win NOW, do either deal, but i like holliday one better. Sorry for the late response, but i think winning now beats winning later!
