Since April 14th: Santana: 135 IP, 140 H, 58 ER, 15 HR, 40 BB, 112 K, 3.87 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, 10-6 record. Romero: 132 IP, 125 H, 52 ER, 8 HR, 49 BB, 112 K, 3.54 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, 8-7 record.

Holy cow! Pretty darn close. At this point, I think it's a draw. I guess in the end we can quantify the 5x5 stats using the z-score method. I was hoping it would be a no brainer decision though.

How about we take out two outliers for each player in the dataset...something tells me Romero is a better pitcher than his numbers suggest.

pretty damm close, but I jumped back into the lead with a 2-1-1 overall
I think we both think Romero is a better pitcher, but the bet was over who would be better fantasy wise, I would say if the 2 guys switched places Romero wins hands down.
Ultimately its gonna come down to September
