Just noticed that Ramon Ortiz is back in the majors pitching for the Dodgers. Pretty interesting story here. After being traded to Colorado 2007 he filed for free agency and signs with the Orix Buffaloes of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball and pitches as a starter. In 2008 he signs with the SF Giants and plays the entire season in AAA while starting in half his appearances. Now he is on the Dodgers pitching out of the bullpen, uneffectively I might add with a 9.82 ERA. So probably the point of this point is how long before he is released and out of baseball for good? May? Next week? By the time I post this?
