Sorry, I would post this in the Mets forum, but no one visits those things.

I'm organizing a trip to citifield for a bunch of my co-workers which might end up being about 15 people. We're going to a Saturday Mets/Giants game. This is the first time I'll have ever been to Citifield so I'm wondering how often these weekend games sell out? Should I buy them well in advance? I would buy them right now but I'm not sure how many people can come yet and I dont want to waste extra tickets. Thanks in advance.

The game will def not sell out. It depends on which section you purchase and how many tickets you're buying if you want them all in the same row. Only games that will probably sell out this season were opening day, and the subway series. Keep in mind last Thursday against the Marlins when it was unseasonably 80 degrees they had the worst single game attendance since moving to Citi. Can't blame the fans for not wanting to go. The product on the field isn't that great due to poor management and coaching yet the tickets prices only went down a fraction.

Until you get a real front office, the hilarity of "Minaya's Mets" means fun times for all.

There is no doubt that Omar is an utter joke, just don't need to hear your taunting in a fantasy baseball forum. You know what else is funny? To get a historical sense, the last time they won the World Series, Margaret Thatcher stepped down as PM of England. Now, that is amusing. I'm not saying the Mets are a great franchise and I am agreeing that Omar is a joke, no need to give Mets fans a hard time, the Oakland A's haven't won in 20 years.

I am pretty sure the A's won the World Series when George HW Bush was president, which is more recently than the Mets.
