Doeas this trade kill me team this year but gives me too good a team next year to pass up .

I'd make this trade every day and twice on Sunday... just scrounge up a passable starter... maybe a SD starter that you can use in matchups (Richard, maybe)

Every once in a while someone posts a trade where I say to myself, "why are you wasting time on the Cafe asking if you should accept a trade like this. What if the other owner realizes what he is doing in that time and pulls the offer back". I think you should take this deal for this year and the future. A Rod + the best WW pitcher is >> than A Ram + AJ. Furthermore, A Ram is almost garaunteed to go on at least one DL stint this year and pitching is not as predictable as hitting. Take the top 5 overall player ASAP!

are you factoring in the points you'll get from your replacement pitcher? even so, pull the trigger-you'll be happy at the end of the year...

Agreed- this is a no-brainer. ARod for ARam is obviously an upgrade, and losing Burnett will not kill you. You have a good pitching staff as it is.
