Béltre or Ramírez? - WHIR

Postby oxhammer » Tue Apr 13, 2010 1:54 pm

Aramis Ramírez is currently on waivers. So who's better over the course of the season, Béltre or Ramírez? Boston should help Béltre out but enough to be better than Ramírez? If so, do I use my waiver priority (currently 5) or wait to see if he clears waivers?

I need to keep Ian Stewart since Aaron Hill is on DL. I'd either have to drop Ross or Béltre to get Ramírez. If I dropped Ross, would I drop Stewart or Béltre later?

Well, both have been injury prone and I think Aramis is the better player, so I'd go Aramis.

thanks for the help with mine.

as mentioned previously, both are a little injury prone, but you have to take a chance on ARam, when healthy, he can rake

I say drop Ross and pick up Ramirez. Then try to deal one of your other guys before you have to outright drop one of them. Try dealing Beltre and one of your SPs for an upgrade maybe. Or you could try to upgrade from Qualls. But if you are unsuccessful in making a deal happen before Hill returns, then I would drop Beltre I guess.

Carlos Gonz is injured too...check his prognosis first, but overall, yes, ARam is better.

for sure Ramirez without question. Even if Aramis gets hurt, this is the right move.
