Crawford/Lincecum/Halladay for Pujols/Longoria

Postby toittoiger99 » Tue Apr 13, 2010 6:56 am

Just finished a draft and I am a little weak on pitching. It's a 5-team league. Here is the juicy trade being offered:

I get:

C. Crawford, Lincecum, Halladay

I lose:

Pujols and Longoria

Should I pull the trigger? I'm a little hesitant on trading the top ranked player in the draft, but those 2 pitchers are top notch.

Dude, your pitching is not that bad, don't press the panic button. Do not do that deal!

You do have Tex and Reynolds that can move in for 1b/3b but still.

If your that interested on acquiring a top notch starter I wouldn't move both guys. I'd to acquire one more quality arm if it means that much to you. Reynolds is worth a very good arm if you can find one. I'd be damn happy with your team. There isn't one single weakness on your team. Maybe a little weak in closers but you have 4 (2 great ones) and perhaps OF but when Carlos Lee gets it going that will turn into a strength. I'd just stick put with your team dude.

Peavy, Santana, Bills, Nolasco, Danks, Greinke and Verlander (and you think you need more SP)? I see the many SP and P slots you use, but I'd be surprised if anyone else had as deep a rotation as you.

Be patient my young padawan and I think this team might take you to the championship.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
