Great management tonight by Trembley.

Great outing for Matusz and he should have got the win.

7.1 IP, 8K, 6H, 1BB

After 7 (around 90 pitches), Matusz comes out for the 8th (as expected, he was on fire). First man up singles, 2nd man up singles as well.

Why do you not take him out at this point? Seriously?

Next up singles (I'm thinking there's no way he doesn't get taken out now). And sure enough, he is left in and gives up another single and gives up his first run of the game and 4 straight hits. NOW you take him out.

Jim Johnson comes in to face Zobrist and Longoria...needless to say, Matusz got tallied for all 4 of those runs and it's a damn shame.

He should have got out of this with 7.1, 2 ER, 4H, BB and potentially a W is the reliever could have gotten 2 outs with runners on 1st and 2nd...who knows .
