Kershaw, how many batters can you walk on 4 straight balls?

Haha I love Mark Reynolds. 4 hits on the season, and 3 are home runs.

What makes it terrible is that at least 3 of them were on 4 straight balls. That includes walks to Ian Kennedy and Chris Young (first walk of the season).

I kept tabs on the game while I was working. Seems to me Kershaw had the same problem as last year, being undone by one big inning whereas in a few other innings, he was more efficient. Something was a bit off in his stance in the inning he gave up back-to-back walks to open (Kennedy walked). When he has better handling of his slider, he generally freezes opposing hitters with the pitch on the corners of the strike zone, which will be key as the season goes along. Think this will be a pattern for him, though.
