How can anyone not be extremely pleased with McGehee so far this season? Honestly? The guy is one of the fantasy season's biggest and best surprises so far. I grabbed him on waivers after the draft with Kinsler hitting the DL and obviously have no plans to drop McGehee even now that Kinsler has been back a while.

He really is. And after having the chance to watch a few Brewers games, I can say he does have a very nice swing. I'm surprised he's been able to keep this up, but I'm loving it. At first, I was quite skeptical, but I'm a believer now. I wonder what the early naysayers have to say about him now. Y'know ... the Bonifacio comparisons and the give him "3 weeks and he'll be on your bench or off your roster" comments.

That would be me, I was one of those and I got to admit he's been proving me wrong so far, but it isn't quite the All-star break yet.

he now has 514 career AB's thats about a seasons worth

.298 avg, 24 hr, 104 rbi

I expect those no's from him for the next few years, and definately puts him in top 7 3B category

I was very skeptical of this guy too. He really kinda came out of nowhere last year. Gotta admit though, he's been shining hitting 5th in the brew - crew lineup.
