I had scramble for help last season and grabbed McGehee off the wire. I was pleasantly surprised with the numbers he posted. My only thoughts on him lean more toward why didn't I set him aside for a very late rounder to more than fill a hole at 2nd or 3rd. Thinking what we've seen so far may not be that far from what we could expect throughout the season.

He's 1-2 for a double so far this afternoon. I really think that double was the final straw that nudged him into non-anomaly territory . . .

I cut Chris Davis for McGehee in one league in which he was available. I still have my doubts, but he's been absolutely raking. the 2B, 3B eligibility on Yahoo is really nice.

Picked him up two weeks ago, when I realized Ian Desmond has hands like Roberto Duran. Happy I did, since Hill went down 2 days later.

I'm going to have to have some serious decisions to make when Hill and Fuentes get back.
