Start Matusz and Pettitte tomorrow(4/13/10)?

Postby Hamiltond18 » Mon Apr 12, 2010 11:39 pm

League info: 12 team, mixed, head to head, 5x5 scoring, non-keeper

Just curious what everybody thinks about Matusz and Pettitte pitching tomorrow night. I believe they both go twice this week but are they must starts tomorrow? Matusz is facing a tough TB team and though he pitched ok in his first start, he had some help from is defense. If he walks as many batters this time out, I'm affraid he won't be as lucky. As for Pettitte I picked him up as a FA with Lee on the DL. While he pitched well for me in his first start VS. the sox, his age scares me and I'm not sure how reliable he is going to be in the long haul. The one thing he has going for him is the Yankees line-up will more likely than not score a ton of runs and he'll get the W. What would you do!?

I'm starting Matusz. He's their best pitcher (which isn't saying much, I know). Crawford hits well at Camden Yards but I think Matusz pitches better this time around. Plus Orioles offense has to hit sometime and who knows how Neimann will be after shoulder injury last week.
I'm hoping for 6 IP, 2 ER, 5 hits, 3 walks, 7 Ks and a W.

Would have been better if the O's bullpen wasn't so crappy!
