Yeah, I probably would have let that through. Before I analyze though how does your league work, is it understood that the commissioner can overturn vetos? I think thats a whole other thread that needs to be started.
Honestly if you look at the pitching Josh Johnson and Javier Vazquez - Jar-Jar and Dempster. I would give the slight edge to the Josh Johnson side.
The Bay - Holliday side clear edge to Holliday.
Hamilton - McClouth - Honestly I can see either side. Hamilton is an big risk. He's put up one huge year but has been disappointing overall. People are down on McClouth, but he could be a legit 20-20 guy. I call this one a wash or slight edge Hamilton.
When I broke the trade down in my mind, this trade is not nearly lopsided enough to warrant a veto

You have a group of owners who are not accepting the responsibility to act fairly in terms of vetoing trades. You should take the veto away from them. There is no case whatsoever for that trade to be vetoed.

Why would anyone veto that trade? You're kind of splitting hairs on which side is better. Whom do you play with, a bunch of actuaries?

Shouldnt even be an issue with this deal

Non-vetoable trade IMO

Not even anywhere close to vetoable. If this trade can't go through, what trade is acceptable?
