I don't need a 1B at all and I need the speed that my UTIL is providing, but someone dropped Butler to the Waiver and I couldn't let him go. Should I wait until he starts hitting better to sell him? I'm in dire need of a C (Montero went down) and SP. What could I net? My team is in my info. whir

Looking at your roster, I'd recommend you try to upgrade at SS. I'm a big Butler fan, but you are unlikely to get something great just for him alone (especially if he was just dropped). What I'd recommend doing is packaging him with another player and trying to pull of a 2-for-1 deal which lands you a significant upgrade. It doesn't even really matter where, though I'd aim for SS.
1B is so deep it may be a bit tough. I'd look around your league and see who is thin at 1B or UT, and may be in need of HR. You may wait a little to see if Butler really gets going, but I'd start packaging together deals now.
Any advice on my question is appreciated.
