Yahoo! Weekly Lineup problem?????

I'm a long-time fantasy player/commish, and I commish a Yahoo! Plus H2H AL-Only league, weekly lineups Mon-Sun.

We are supposed to be able to set our weekly lineups until just before the first game starts. This morning, my own lineup cannot be adjusted for this week. I'm the Commissioner, so I went to do it manually, and it says today is "not editable" but next Monday is.

Is this some new Yahoo! garbage?

It's ridiculous, but whoever is running Yahoo! fantasy sports clearly does not play fantasy sports, because they have become completely clueless over the past few years.

Clueless one here who clearly doesn't play fantasy sports . The behavior you are experiencing is how our game has worked for longer than I've been involved with it: weekly roster deadlines do not cut off at the first game, they cut off on the day of the week in question. Changing this behavior to the first game of the week is on "The List", and I'm pretty sure it has even been worked on, but there are complicating factors related to how we get real-time data vs. overnight official data.

For the sake of clarity as well, just so nobody else gets confused, we no longer have Plus leagues. This year all leagues are free.

I have never used Yahoo, but what you say is a poor way to run a league. Switch to ESPN, it is free and locks the lineup 5 minutes before the game starts, not 2 AM

OMG. I switched back to Yahoo! this year for a couple of technical reasons. This was not the way it worked.

Football is entirely different. I am quite positive this is how it has always worked for baseball.
