Like many owners, I am scrambling to replace Miguel Montero after he went down with a knee injury. The FA pool has nothing much in the way of catchers so I am looking to make a trade. I have my eye on Geovany Soto, Mike Napoli, Bengie Molina, Victor Martinez and Matt Weiters. Soto, Napoli and Molina can probably be had on the cheaper side, while Martinez and Weiters will come at a heavy price. Given my roster, what kind of deal should I offer for one of the catchers I mentioned?
This team is in a 5x5 scoring, 12 team Head to Head league. We use OBP instead of BA.

I'm on the same boat, I picked up Borajas in on league. In my other league I had Ruiz on the bench and picked up Snyder once I freed up a spot DL'ing Montero.
Not an owner of Montero but would absolute hate if I were to pick up someone like Barajas. Personally, I'd rather go for consistency in someone like John Baker or even if worst come to worst, Miguel Olivo or Jason Kendall. These players are generally unowned in most deep leagues. Just putting it out there.
Also in the same boat and am going with Pierzynski as a placeholder. I wouldn't make a big trade until we here the extent of Montero's injury tomorrow after he is evaluated.
If you can't, consider snagging someone like Russell Martin on the cheap. Nick Swisher is a pretty valuable commodity on your bench. Try selling him high and shopping him for a middle-end catcher.
I like Kurt Suzuki alot he plays everyday and should be good for 15 homers, I would try to move Hughes for him, since he is merely a name player and a Yankee but not much of a pitcher yet ( as I see probably not until he leaves the Yankees)
