team specs at bottom.
would like to snap up Chris Young while hes hot & in case he is breaking out...already have 1 too many OFs, so even though Edwin jackson is my least favorite player, wouldnt make sense to drop him for my 7th OF.
what would you do:
A - drop Reimold for C.Young
B - drop Borbon for C.Young
C - stand pat, let some1 else deal with C.Youngs inevitable fall back to earth

I would drop Bourbon. Reimold SHOULD get more at bats and chances for Ribbis ... I don't understand why they're platooning him right now. I'd say he's more worthy of a stash than bourbon ... who isn't really providing in his department (SB/avg)
Help me out?

I'd drop Reimold since potentially you're good in RBIs. Actually I think Young has more upside than Reimold.

thx for reply...im an Os fan and they are platooning Reimold cause he is still recovering from achilles surgery/sore leg in general. part of why im thinking of dropping him...cause if the achilles issue keeps from stealing his 8-10 bags (like last year), his overall value drops. no sbs and hes just a dime a dozen 275 20 hr OF.

In this case I'd drop Reimold too. Even if Young doesnt finally have some monster breakout year, chances are he and Reimold will probably put up similar #'s - with his high ceiling though the potential's there for him to put up some nice #'s and I think its worth dropping Reimold in case that happens.

I know about the Achilles issue .. hence starting Pie on the artificial turf. But I feel that his rhythm will be horrendously affected by keeping his bat out of the lineup so erratically. IMO, he's going to get hot once Trembley and Co. are assured that he's 100% and their investment is protected.
They let him play out the remainder of spring training and he looked pretty darn healthy to me! Fielded/ran well and had a hot pat. I think they're stymieing his growth.
Even with the reduced playing time right now - Reimold won't hurt your batting average the way Borbon will (which is a sad thing to say about a leadoff man). He's going to need to shape up or prepare to sit and stew on the bench a little more often. I agree that he has upside, but I think he's going to be off more than on.

getting some good responses, many thanks...i promise to whir if you leave a link.
btw - worth noting I picked up Rajai Davis after Borbon started bad & hes giving me what I basically drafted Borbon for (4 sbs & 1 hr last week by Rajai). I was figuring that once Kinsler & Berkman are healthy one of the Rajai/Borbon guys will have to be cut anyways.
anyone else????

Thanks for our post.
I would drop Reimold... if any. I would have on to Borbon. All in all, I might stay status quo.
Expos... Gone, but not forgotten.
