Very sorely missed on my keeper team..hurting in runs, steals, and average. Good deal is I don't even have to drop anyone thanks to that POS Sizemore getting injured ;-D

Ellsbury said his left side feels sore Tuesady, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports.

Recommendation: Ellsbury is just a few days removed from returning from a rib injury, but its not clear yet as to if the two are related. The fact that the Sox are keeping the recently-DFA'd Darnell McDonald close is not a good sign.

Jacoby Ellsbury underwent an X-ray and CT scan for the soreness in his left side on Tuesday. He will not be in the lineup on Wednesday.

MRI shows a cracked rib. Sox say it will be at least "several weeks" of rest and therapy.

He just got dropped to the wire in my league, which I think was a dumb move. Happily, I have the #1 pick, and will be using it. Even if I don't have him until after the break, I'll take it.

This is bad news. I hope he rests up until the break. I'm good without him now, but I don't think I can win without him in the postseason.

If it's some form of chondritis he could be feeling these effects for a while, speaking from experience... it's inflammation after trauma to the ribs. Can last 3 months or more and it HURTS...

Well, they finally got him back. Theyve been very careful with him so I figure he's close to 100%. Goes 0/5 in his first game back. What are your realistic expectations on him?
