Unlimited potential, high upside or similar when referring to a player that has had multiple disappointing seasons at the MLB level.

Not sure I can add another overused term to the comprehensive list in this thread. But there is one overused concept that comes up now and then. That is the idea that someone could ever hit 3 HR in one game. Yeah, like that could ever happen.
