Should I do any of these 3 trades? WHIR

Postby Vobs56 » Fri Apr 09, 2010 12:20 pm

I was sent 3 trade proposals last night from 3 different owners, they are:

1.) I get his Josh Hamilton for my Clayton Kershaw.
2.) I get his Alexei Ramirez and his Hideki Matsui for my Jose Reyes.
3.) I get his Alfonso Soriano, his Frank Francisco, and his Scott Feldman for my Jose Reyes, and my Ryan Dempster.

I am in a 12 team, head to head league, with the following stat categories:
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Hits (H), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Walks (BB), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)

No, I wouldn't do any of those three trades. The only one I even consider to be a fair trade is the 1st one, and you need Kershaw more so than you need another outfielder.

Agree with the previous poster. Only the first one would be a fair trade, but SP would become a weakness if you completed that trade. Stand pat.
