D. Price vs NYY 04/09/10

Just wanted some opinions.

Would you start D. Price at home vs NYY?

Last season total: 4.42 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, .241 BAA
last season vs NYY: 3 Games, 1.93 ERA, 14K:9BB, 7 Hits over 18.2IP, 0.86 WHIP, 0.113 BBA

last year he seemed to dominate the NYY. I typically only like to start my "stud SP" the first few weeks of the season, but it's been a bad week (Peavy, Kershaw, Carmona) and I'm losing ERA and WHIP 4.60 to 2.82 and 1.47 to 1.25 respectively. I figure I'll start Price and try to get a W, a few K's, and a solid K/9, maybe even a QS. Can't do much worse.

I got Price too, and its funny i was gonna post the same thing here til i saw your post. Based on the numbers against NY you just provided that swung me to start him for today.

His numbers against the Yanks have been very good. And he's at home. I'm starting him too. Hopefully, he can have a breakout type season this year.
