10 Team Head to Head

I was proposed this trade: My Beltran (DL) for his Posada.

My current team:

C- Doumit
1B- Pujols
2B- Phillips
3B- Youk
SS- HanRam
LF- Carlos Lee
CF- Hunter
RF- Cruz
UTIL- Butler
Bn- Carlos Gonzalez
Bn- Bruce
Bn- DeRosa
DL- Beltran

Does this make sense for my offense? Is Posada that much of an upgrade over Doumit to where I am willing to take a chance a give up the potential upside of Beltran?

Please helP! WHIR!!

Yikes... don't do that! Posada has been playing less and less games as the years go on where as Beltran should come back strong. Posada (or any catcher outside the top 3) isn't going to be a difference maker for you, Beltran might.

I wouldn't do that. You have a decent C right now and there is no promise on Posada, I don't trust his back. With Bruce's start right now I think the backup help at OF is more valuable

Posada will be more valuable as a 2nd catcher especially playing in Yankee stadium and splitting with Doumit. Drop Derosa, he doesn't play over Gonzalez or Bruce for Utility. This coming from a Sox fan.
