DeRosa, Bruce or Bourn

Postby Chatrain57 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 6:33 pm

I've currently got Bourn and Bruce on my team, but DeRosa was just dropped. Thinking that he might be a good pickup especially considering that my starting 3B is Aram. Unfortunately, I'd need to drop either Jay Bruce or Michael Bourn to pick up DeRosa. Thinking that Bourn is the one to go, especially since speed guys can be found throughout the season. But am I missing something? My team is below, and before anyone says to drop them MY LEAGUE COUNTS HOLDS, so Mijares, Lowe and Feliciano are staying.

Thanks in advance and leave a link, and I'll return the favor!

How many teams? Keeper?

At any rate, bourn would be my drop... Probably easy to replace as you said, and bruce could go nutz and become more valuable.

If this is H2H, I'd say drop Bourn and go with DeRosa. You are going to have to stream speed guys like hell to stay afloat in SBs as you don't have too much elsewhere.
I'm suffering through Bruce growing pains myself, but you can't cut bait on him just yet.

Go Jay Bruce. Credits to Super Manny.

Sorry, 10 team H2H. Possible keeper, voting in season to see if keeper or redraft this season and keeper next.

Agreed ... DeRosa brings more to the table for you and the Bourn speed can be found elsewhere.

I agree also. Derosa will help you out way more than Bourn will.

I'd stand pat. Too early to be giving up on Bruce and Bourn still has more trade value than DeRosa, even if he's on your bench. Also a bit early to think about replacing A-Ram if he gets hurt.

Dodger - I am standing pat in that situation.
Bruce is going to have a good year and Bourn is liquid jet fuel.

I would wait on this one.
