Trade Help!?! Please.... WHIR!!

Postby TheGhost » Thu Apr 08, 2010 3:32 pm

OK, I play in a league that puts a premium on pitching. For instance, a pitcher who gets a win gets 20 points and a homerun from a position player gets 4 points. That said, I just got offered Ryan Rowland-Smith for my C.J. Wilson. At the beginning of the year I would have accepted that trade with little thought. Rowland-Smith didn't have a great spring and then got roughed up in his first start this year. Wilson is currently working on a 3 hit shutout against the Blue Jays.

The main reason for my hesitation is that Wilson has RP eligibility and my Huston Street got injured. Kind of need Wilson to put in that spot. We set our lineups at the beginning of the week and then they're locked so not too much room for manuvering. Thoughts? SHOULD I DO THIS TRADE? Thanks and WHIR!

I dont think this is a good deal for you. Wilson should have a much better season pitching in Texas than Rowland-Smith. And i like that he has the RP eligibility. DONT DO IT

I'd keep C.J. for sure.
