Stay tight or make a move?

Postby gridiron469 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 3:02 pm

Should I drop Matsui or grab one of the guys listed below off waivers? I know it's early on the season, but I'm a little concerned about runs/sb's categories with my current roster. Thanks ahead of time for your thoughts and/or suggestions!!

Paul Konerko
Placido Polanco
Colby Rasmus
Todd Helton

Re: Konerko or Matsui?

Konerko is red-hot to start the year and Matsui can barley get out of his own way anymore. I would defiantly take Konerko. Keep an eye on Polonco as he should pile on the sb's as the season goes on. But right now, take konerko.

Those FAs aren't looking like a great fit for your team. With all that RP maybe you should try to work a trade. There has to be someone getting shafted on SVs already, see what type of speed he has on his team. I'd try to target someone like McCutchen or Reyes before they get hot.

Matsui is doing good so far. The Angels are a good team and hes hitting clean up. I wouldn't drop him just yet.
