I would honestly try and do a bit better than Beckett, just based off ADP... and you shouldn't have to throw in anything extra if he's willing to deal.
better then beckett? I wish you guys were in my league. Seriously. I guess its just my league. The trades I see going down would never happen in my league. This kid needs a RF badly. and he wont do abreu for hamels. What kind of shit is that!
People tend to over-value their players after a draft. Beckett is a fine pitcher, a great real-life ace and a pretty good fantasy play. But .300-30-100 2B don't grow on trees either. If the guy you're trading with truly needs a 2B, just wait him out rather than needlessly throwing in extra.

but if he will do hill straight up for beckett should I? He has weeks at 2nd right now.
I don't think Hill will be as good as last year, but who would you put in as a starter without Hill? Your pitching can use someone like Beckett, I think him and Nolasco would add a lot to your team.
10 team,H2H,5x5 C-Montero 1B-A.Gonzalez 2B-Utley 3B-Longoria SS-Reyes 1B/3B-Morneau 2b/SS-K.Jonhson OF-J.Upton,CarGo,Pierre UTL-Rasmus P-Hamels,Nolasco,W.Rodriguez,Garza,Wagner,Aardsma BN-Span,Slowey,Liriano,E.Santana,Gregg, Pelfrey, Street DL-B. Anderson
I cant honestly say i think Hill will match his numbers from last year. But with that being said, who are you going to replace him with? you will never find equal production on the ww and although i do think this is a good trade, in context i believe it will hurt you in the long run. Give your pitching some time, i think you will be fine.
If he has weeks, just wait till he gets hurt (which he will) and offer him Aybar

Thanks for the help with mine!
Lol aybar is a SS. He'll need a 2B if weeks gets hurt. What do you think of the other people i said I would pick up in the post above?
also note that he was hesitant to accept this trade
I like Headley at 3B and McGehee to 2B..I'd pull the trigger honestly bc I am not a real fan of Hill..Beckett makes me a little nervous though and I am a Sox fan.
