can i afford to lose my ace

Postby ratking20 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 1:17 pm

6x6 roto extra cats are ops and holds
we start 2 starters, 2 relief pitchers and 3 other pitchers

3 sp- wainwright, beckett, j.weaver
2 rp- fuentes and a.bailey
3 p- aceves, niemann, gregerson
bench- h.street, dice-k, porcello, dela rosa

this is who i have on my roster. im trying to get longoria from another team in a trade and the other team i know wants wainwright. im pretty new at roro leagues. can i afford to lose wainwright. i have decent power but i could use a boost with longoria as my 3b is weak

Whats the rest of your roster? Is Longoria really gonna help your power numbers that much?

Without context, I do wainwright for longoria all day....

How many teams? Post your roster...but if you're weak at 3rd, my vote is likely to stay "do it."

You trade WW for Longo every day, and twice on Sundays. Considering your league has 3B, CI, and 2 Util spots, there will be plenty of places to put him. If you don't want to keep him, I'd consider shipping him out for Zimmerman/Sanodval/Youkilis and an equivalent pitcher to WW.

How many teams?

In any case, I I'd do it. You can address your pitching afterwards if necessary...

im pretty sure he wont do it straight up. i offered him wainwright and derek lee for is matt cain and longoria. i can do without lee until berkman gets back and it wouldnt be so bad while upgrading bigtime at 3b
