should this Pujols trade be vetoed?

Postby kage812004 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 11:58 am

A lot of people in my league have a problem with this trade including myself. its a league with coworkers and friends and this is a the 2nd trade this guy has doen with the same person and the 1st one was Halladay for Elsbury which did not help his team at all.

Now he is trading Pujols for Wainwright, Carlos Lee and Carlos Pena. I think this trade is garbage, you dont trade Pujols unless someone is over paying big time and this is not overpaying and it really doesnt help his team, his outfield is fine. hes saying he needs pitching, then he shouldnt have traded Halladay last week, he didnt need Elsbury, he has plenty of speed, Bourn being one of them.

I dont usually try and veto trades but this one really got me going, the team getting Pujols would have him and Arod and the trade just makes no sense, its a big money league and this is just crap :-P

Nope. This isn't vetoable, not even close.

Nope.

If he's making such egregious trades, why don't you make him an offer?

the funny thing is your making it sound like this trade is ridiculous. It isnt ,the dude trading Pujols is getting a lot for him. No veto! Sounds like you just dont want the other team to get pujols rather than allowing the trade

If you look at pre-season ADP, that's about where both were going.
