Worthy of roster spot??

Postby gridiron469 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 12:26 am

What are your thoughts on Jose Lopez? I know he has 2nd/3rd base eligibility, but I'm interested in picking up Polanco and/or Konerko off of waivers. Would that be a good move or should I pick up another starting pitcher like Chris Young, Mark Buehrle, Barry Zito, Dallas Braden, or Ian Snell? Please let me know your thoughts.

I will reply to your questions... just leave me a link!! Thanks!!

I know you have Pedroia, but Lopez is a solid guy to slip in to your line up on his days off. i think dropping him would be very foolish. Since I don't draft MI's very high usually Lopez and Ian Stewart were the two guys I often targeted at 2nd. 2nd is pretty shallow, you could trade him for a pitcher far more valuable than you'll find in the FA pool.
