I took Joba in round 28, and just wonder if he is worth stashing. I need some Sp and staring at Joba in my reserve spot is killing me, especially since I hate the Yankees.

Who's out there on the WW? I wouldn't keep Joba around if you're not using him, but with him getting the call in the 8th inning for the Yankees, he should be able to put up some good K/ERA numbers this year. I'd likely dump him for a starter, but only if there is anyone of quality out there.

Joba's going to be a beast if you're using MR to help your ratios, or if you're using holds (which I take it you're not, otherwise we wouldn't have this thread). But I doubt he starts a game all year. For better or worse, the Yanks seem to think the bullpen is his home now. I think Hughes will take the 5th starter job and run with it, and if there's an injury (looking at you, AJ), they won't stretch Joba out. Maybe if a few starters go down.

Marcum, Romero or even Colby Lewis could be valuable sleepers. Joba won't do much for you, the only way he's getting in to the rotation this season is if he eats a couple of the other starters (I wouldn't put it past him). Personally i've never thought Joba had the enduracnce to be a real starting pitcher. He belongs in the BP setting up Mo... and later on setting up Dave Robertson IMO.
How is your waiver priority? If it's good I would wait a bit to see if anyone else will emerge as a decent SP. I'm sure it is very slim pickings for everyone in a 15 team league, don't really see any of those three doing much for you.
