Interesting that two of the worst players in the bigs have the best arms
That is not true. They haven't lived up to their hype but they aren't close the being the worst players in the majors. Not even close.
They are both absolutely two of the worst players in baseball. Now, they may improve, but at present, they are two of the worst players in all of baseball.
Especially Francouer who does nothing well. In his career, he doesn't hit for average. He doesn't hit for power. He doesn't walk. He strikes out too much. He's got no speed. He has no range in the field. He does have a very good arm. But of the 7 skills in baseball, he's dreadful in 6 of them, and great in 1.
Even guys like Cristian Guzman have more value than Francouer. He's down there with Yunesky Betancourt.

Well... If you're a believer in WAR he was THE worst in 2008 among qualified players with -1.2 WAR and 9th worst in 2009 with a 0.1 WAR. If that's not among the worst in the majors I'm not sure what is.

No, once again this is wrong. They are rosterable in fantasy which means they are at least in the top 250 (12 X 21=252) players in baseball. Factor in defense, which has merit in reality, and they're even better. This really makes your statement foolish.

The flaw here is that you have to actually start to have a bad war. I might say that Francoeur is one of the worst starters in MLB. But there are guys floating around on MLB benches that are much worse.....

Francoeur is not rosterable due not to what he's done either of the past 2 years; he's rosterable due to his potential. Furthermore, his skills are best shown in fantasy. He can't draw a walk and has no range. Those two things have merit in real life; Francoeur is awful at both.... Francoeur OBPs like .300. That's terrible....especially from a corner OF who doesn't even play good D....
Bobby Abreu's got a cannon, when he decides to waddle over to the ball.

If you think the fact that they mediocre enough in fantasy baseball to be rosterable in small leagues means anything about how good they are in real baseball, then I am not going to waste my time arguing as you are too far gone.
