I don't LOVE Kazmir, but for non-keeper, I would. I think Heyward outplays Beckham easily and Kaz will get you some K's and W's for your week (if nothing else) in H2H.

My god people are you serious??? This is just getting absolutely CRAZY!!

Just answered one post saying someone is giving them Wainwright+Jaun Rivera for Heyward, thats just stupid. Listen I know hes got skill, but you are talking about trading a VERY solid young kid primed to break at 2 of the shallowest positions on a fantasy squad PLUS a quality arm for an unproven rookie at the deepest position in fantasy. To me that is just not smart at all.

Hell last year we were all doing these trade talks over Gordon cuz he was the next big thing, then just one year later hes on the back burner? So Heyward hit a HR in his first AB, whattid he do in his other 4 since? An RBI Single, 1 R and 1 K... He is not superman, so please quit over paying for 'ifs' and 'coulds'.

I wouldn't... but at the same time, I'd also be trying to move Beckham for some type of upgrade somewhere... you have Uggla and Polanco on the bench, both worthy of starting somewhere. Maybe Beckham + Pena for a better bat?

Precisely. Heyward is great, but he's potential. Rookies, even great ones, are hard to peg. Go with Beckham. He's safe, he's got a rock solid spot in an ok lineup, and you can get an OF with power for much cheaper who doesn't have Heyward's hype name value.

And I like Kazmir, but he's tough to predict this year. He wasn't worth all that much last year, and I think it'd be a risk to project him to be worth the difference between Beckham and Heyward.
