I would take the deal, personally. With Prince, Manny, and Wright, you should have enough power to hold on until your DL clears, but your SP are very thin. I'm not high on Shields as your 2nd best SP.

I would take it. Your pitching is the weakness in your team. Plus you will eventually get Beltran and Berkman back making your offense that more powerful. I pull the trigger.

Agreed with the others. This trade could make you lethal once Beltran/Berkman get back.

i agree with the consensus here. you've got enough firepower in your offense to survive until the injured guys return.
do the deal and don't look back.

thanks for the help on mine.

Take it for sure --- love Grandy, but you have Berkman and Beltran on the mend, and even if one of them is helpful to you, it's worth upgrading to Wainwright in the pitching for sure. He is a real anchor you can rely on for CONSISTENT good production.

help me?

No. You lose a solid closer in Valverde also.

I'd definitely keep the Granderson side. That pitching staff is pretty decent even if it could use another top-line starter, but I wouldn't consider dealing your best OF for Wainwright.
