I would think Blanks will be more productive for you filling in at OF and Util than Doumit will at C. If Jorge gets hurt there should be good enough catchers on the wire to fill in. (Bengie Molina, Suzuki, Pierzynski, Clement etc...)

a 10 teamer I would drop Doutmit for Blanks so you can compete, you either compete or go for next season with young studs and your team looks middle of the pack so Blanks could tilt the scale to being compettitive or ypu get a stud for next season
