So, I am stacked at SP and willing to trade one. Josh Beckett has proven to garner the most interest but I have been unhappy with the trade offers.
I was offered Andre Ethier for Beckett straight up. Ethier is a stud, but I still think Beckett is worth a little more.
I was offered Josh Hamilton for Beckett straight up. Maybe this is more me undervaluing Josh Hamilton because I admit I am not very high on the guy, but it still seems like a low end offer.
I was offered Chris Perez and Carlos Santana which I laughed at. I need RP help, but this deal wasn't gonna happen
Am I overvaluing Beckett for wanting more than Ethier or Hamilton straight up? Would a Zobrist for Beckett straight up be fair, assuming my counter offer were considered?
Going just off ADP, Beckett for Zobrist would be a great deal for you, and Beckett for Ethier or Hamilton are pretty fair, if not slightly in your favor. Beckett is solid, but those guys are solid hitters as well. Guys who have the potential to go .300-100-30-100 don't grow on trees...

I would not trade Beckett for Hamilton (injuries for sure) - and I would take Beckett personally over Ethier
if you think Zobrist can repeat last year, that deal is more reasonable... so I do not think you are overvaluing Beckett - I just think every team tends to overvalue their own individual players generally
