MLB average is like .330 so they're definitely pretty good, but the run-scoring environment the other hitters produce is closer to the 90-100 RBI range than the 130 RBI pace Delmon is currently on. In fact, no lineup in the last 8 years would be likely to produce a 115+ RBI season out of a Delmon-type hitter.
I'm just disagreeing about 'the Twins aren't exactly an offensive powerhouse' that you said earlier. They place between 2nd and 5th in RS, OBP and OPS. but I do agree with you on Delmon.

Oh right, I concede the point on that. They're sneaky good because they have only 1.5 regulars that hit like catchers (and the catcher isn't one of them). Still, they're not the right type of offensive powerhouse to safely project a lot of RBI.

It's definitely a good time to sell high on him, but the level he's playing at right now would yield a sell high situation for almost any player in baseball. Again, he's only 24 years old....is it really that hard to believe that he's a late bloomer? Or is he just getting really lucky right now still?

Like I said before, the RBIs aren't for real and the AVG will probably come down a bit. He's streaking like hell right now and hot/cold streaks are the worst time to judge a player's ability. Still, the .307/90/23/90/8 pace I expect from him from here on out is very solid.
