Pujos and Franklin Morales for beckett Sandoval Rivera!!!!

Postby ar0d422 » Tue Apr 06, 2010 12:54 am

The trade is Pujos and franklin morales (i just picked him up 2 days ago) for Beckett, Sandoval, Rivera.

This is a 12 team, 5 player keeper league

I feel like I need a better pitching staff. Also I am about to pick up Street and put him on my DL list until hes back.

Is this trade worth trading Pujos?

This is my team...

I think you could get more for Pujols, although your third base spot being empty is a big no no.

Pujols lovers will overpay and give you more.

I just dropped casey McGehee b/c i wanted to pick up street and put him on my DL. I think it will be worth it to not have a player at 3b for 2 days... Anyway. I just picked up morales 2 days ago. So basically im trading pujos for all 3 of them. I have been trying to do other trades, but this was the best so far. I have been offered Wright and Victor Martinez for Pujos and yadiear molina. How much more do you think I can get?

more opinions pleasee.

Giving up Pujos is so hard. The kid im trying to trade with also has Halladay, but hes not willing to give up as much if he gives me Halladay instead of beckett.

I dont take Saves much into consideration when it comes to this kind of trade just because you seem to have the RP depth to not need Rivera.

Beckett is good and Sandoval is a great player, but Pujols is the best in the game. You are giving up a lot of Power here and not getting much back. (40+ hrs easy for AP vs 20+ hrs in PS) You dont seem to have much power on your team and therefore It would need to be a blow away deal for me to give up AP. If it was Halladay Sandoval and maybe a decent OF then I would probably make the trade but unless its a top 5 pitcher and PS then I dont think you should pull the trigger.

Thanks for the help? I was asking which of the 3 was best.. Thought I was pretty clear, but guess not.
This is not enough for Pujols. Stay put unless you get a 1st or 2nd round talent in return. I'm guessing you mean Mariano and not Juan?

I like having the best RP's. If I picked up Rivera, then I would have 5 BEAST RP's (including street). Most will pitch twice a week on average. Thats a good amount of Innings and helps lower the era and raise k/9. What do you think?

I still dont like it for you. Pujols is worth much more, hold onto him for a bit and soon enough the trades will be coming in, or if someone has a good 1B that goes down then you can try and pry away an ace and a good hitter from them for Pujols. Beckett Sandoval Rivera is not enough to get rid of Pujols. I am not a fan of giving up the best player in the deal for 3 guys who should fall between rounds 5 and 8 for the clear cut 1st pick.
