How high can I sell Jason Heyward and potentially for whom?

Postby waltb87 » Mon Apr 05, 2010 8:54 pm

I got Jason Heyward with a low pick last week and I have a couple die hard Braves fans in the league...in theory, if Jason Heyward played as good as he played today, what caliber type of player could I trade him for or should I even trade him?

Depends on your roster? is it a keeper? But just on pure face value right now I would hold onto him.

It isn't a keeper that I know of. I honestly had some steals in this draft:

Team B - ESPN FBaseball - Standard stats, Rotisserie, 10 teams

C- Victor Martinez
1B- Albert Pujols
2B- Dan Uggla
3B - Kevin Youkilis
SS- JJ Hardy
OF - Matt Holliday , Jayson Werth, Raul Ibanez, Alfonso Soriano, Jason Heyward
UTIL - Ryan Howard, Chone Figgins

SP - Chris Carpenter, Javy Vazquez, John Lackey, Jake Peavy, Carlos Zambrano, Scott Feldman
RP - Octavio Dotel, Billy Wagner, Bobby Jenks
BN - David Ortiz, Michael Bourn, Juan Rivera

I would def keep him and play him over Soriano and Ibanez

If I were to deal anyone from your roster it would be Howard for a stud SP (Doc, Lince, Felix) and a solid dependable closer (Papelbon, Rivera, etc...) that is your biggest extra asset to fill in your biggest holes.

Hold on to Heyward
