I would hold off for the reason above. But you might consider dropping Romero for him, as the rest of the team seems great as is.

help me?

I would drop Franklin for Jenks in a heart beat assuming Jenks clears waivers.

yep. don't burn your waiver spot on him, but if he clears (doubtful), grab him over franklin.

sounds like the guy that dropped jenks is about to drop Francisco also. Maybe I can grab one of them if they clear.

Here is the question. If I miss out on Jenks, is Francisco a better option than Franklin? What about dropping Romero for Francisco?

Hold onto Ricky Romero, he will give you strong starts from 3rd/4th in the rotation which will usually mean 2 starts a week in H2H leagues.

If either clears waivers then you pick up Jenks or Francisco over Franklin IMO. Franklin may end up having a couple more saves (better team) but think he will also have the higher ERA, WHIP, ect...

of course i should hold onto Romero...... you're a Jays fan!! I dont understand how 3/4 in the rotation could mean more 2 start weeks.

It isn't that I am just a Jays fan. Who cares what team people cheer for, and what I mean by usually 2 starts a week is that the guys in that spot of the rotation will more often than not pitch near the start of the week and just before the weekend. This is not a guarantee of course it is just a bit of a trend I've noticed, as I'm sure others have as well.

Ricky was solid last year in his rookie season and was the #2 guy in the rotation behind Doc, the only reason I think Cito is starting him 4th in the rotation to start the season is to help manage his innings so he doesn't get overworked. Hold onto him and enjoy a blossoming solid top 2nd tier SP.

I was just joking about the Jay thing. I hear you on Romero, I should hang onto him.

Will probably let Franklin go for Jenks or Francisco.
