Thoughts

Postby thedude » Mon Apr 05, 2010 11:12 pm

I am thinking:

Stephen Drew turns into a 25 homer and .290 player.
Russell Martin is going to bounce back.
Carlos Quentin is not going to bounce back.

Brewer/Rockie Observations...

Ubaldo Jimenez is nasty, just flat nasty. I enjoy watching him pitch.
Franklin Morales is underwhelming despite good velocity...should pick up some saves, but might hurt the ratios.
Carlos Gonzalez looks good. Todd Helton's not dead yet.

Good to see Rickie Weeks again, he looked good. God I hope he stays healthy.
Carlos Gomez is nowhere near this good, but he has a golden fantasy opportunity hitting behind Weeks and in front of Braun/Fielder.

I want some thoughts on Delmon Young after he hit a 2-run HR off his first AB. ;-7

I didn't see any of the game, but I still hold out hope he could turn it around. I missed him in most leagues, but I still liked him coming into the year. Did he just look out of place? Thoughts?

He went 1 for 2 with a K and 2 HBP with 2Rs. I think he'll be fine.
