So here's something crazy:

In a huff earlier, I sent off an email to Bob Bowman, head honcho at MLBAM (his email isn't too hard to find if you know where to look). I explained, very nicely, that I was disappointed with the product this year: with the fact that it doesn't work with Windows 7 and lots of the other deficiencies.

Two hours later, they called me.

They tracked me down at my other email address (I sent the original email via a more professional address that I have) and called me up. They apologized and had me uninstall the NexDef plugin and told me they were working on a fix.

Not a bad deal.
