Aaron Hill for Justin Morneau

Postby arruculo » Mon Apr 05, 2010 12:54 pm

Im in a 16-team, head-to-head, standard 5x5 league.

Im really down o Aaron Hill this year and I have Jose Lopez currently at 1st base. Im looking for a 1st baseman so I can move Lopez to 2nd base.

Would you trade Hill for Morneau straight up?

My lineup:

C - M. Wieters
1B - J. Lopez
2B - A. Hill
3B - A. Ramirez
SS - T. Tulowitzki
OF - C. Crawford
OF - J. Kubel
OF - A. Ethier
Util - D. Fowler

Bench: M. Laporta, S. Rodriguez, B. Gardner, O. Cabrera.

Hell yes, that's a great trade for you. I'd also be looking to swap out Fowler for one of your bench bats... just not sure which one yet, lol. Seth Smith just steals too many of his ABs for Fowler to man UTIL by himself. You've got a few good fliers in LaPorta, S. Rod, and Gardner, while I think O-Cab won't crack your lineup unless Tulo goes down.

If you are down on Hill this year, then yes I would say Morneau is good value for him.

Cabrera had good numbers last year, Im trying to sell him but noone is biting.

Do u think Cabrera can be decent this year? Because I thinking about trading Tulo for some pitching.

I have: C. Carpenter, J. Vazquez, P. Hugues, B. Penny, J. Maine, J. Rauch, C. Perez and J. Frasor.

We start 2 SPs, 2 RPs and 2 Ps.

Thank you all, I just accepted the trade.
