I think I like Granderson more... Very balanced team with a nice trio of top power bats in Miggy, Braun and Reynolds (if he replicates) while 2 of those 3 could very well lead your squad in Average also. Then you have 2 really good power/speed guys in Ian/Rios. Then combining Cruz/Reyes you have another Power/Speed combo. Bay just doesn't really fit the roll on this squad I don't think. Granderson will at very least match Bay in HR, I actually think he surpases Jason (30-32 for Grandy, 25-27 for Bay) and I think Grandy makes a big jump in average with not having the pressure on him (hitting mid-bottom of the lineup, and protection of the big bats ahead of him) to something around .275-.280 which is right in line with Bay's average. Bay may get him in Rs by a few. The deciding factor comes down to RBI vs. SB. I think you have plenty of RBI on this squad, and if Reyes is injured off and on all year your going to lose quite a few valuable SB, which Grandy can make up over Bay.

Overall I like Bay more as a counting stat player, but I like Grandy more for your squad with his Average and SB putting him over the top.

I'd say Granderson is better for this team as his average will probably greatly increase this season and he's got some monster sticks in the line-up with him.

The guy said he might even be willing to trade Granderson/Jeter for Reyes/Bay...

what would u do in that situation Bazzy? I could use Reyes speed but there is some risk there...

Whats on your WW? Any of Borbon, Bourn, Davis, Pierre, Stubbs or even Gardner or Everth Cabrera that you could cut Pettitte for just for some backup steals?

If not I personally would do that deal still. Just too many injuries and better yet re-occuring injuries to Reye's main value, his legs. Jeter I believe should be good for 22-25 on his own, and at best a fully healthy year out of Reyes I was only projecting in the neighborhood of 50 for Jose. I say do it if he will, you should basically get back the steals lost with Reyes in Grandy/Jeter combined...

If this deal goes through then I recommend snagging Pierre for Cabrera then. Would be a sweet looking new trio to your squad, Grandy/Jeter/Pierre thats good for .300+ average, bout 270-280R, 50HR, 190RBI and 85-95SB. Looks damn good to me...
